Kenmore hasn't been exclusive to Sears for a while now. In 2017 Sears announced a deal to sell Kenmore appliances through Amazon, and they've been seen in more places since.
If you think about it, Sears as a store is basically dead - there are only 8 stores left. But the Kenmore brand is one of the more valuable assets the company has due to the name recognition, so keeping it exclusive to their own stores would just be silly at this point. The only chance at Kenmore surviving is allow it to be sold elsewhere.
Sadly the brand seems to be dying despite these efforts. Electrolux had to shut down their brand new cooking factory in Memphis, TN less than 10 years after it opened, because a large part of its business was supplying Kenmore products and that business just totally collapsed.
