We have an American Standard central unit. We keep it set at 77F. It was 100F yesterday with very high humidity. The unit ran a total of 10:13 min in that 24 hour time period with no constant run mode.

You are right! Our 1993 Whirlpool dryer still has the original belt and light bulb in it from new. Just clean the lint out every couple of years and you are good to go. Is this a lint filter on the top model?
