I am guessing this picture from a 2012 post may give some clues to some of the buttons and the layout.

Does "Tall Post Impeller" in the 2018 column mean that it will basically be an HE machine, like a cabrio/bravos washer?

I did receive recall notices in the mail, and a phone call from Bosch. It took all of about 5 minutes for the repairman to replace the controller.

I am going to assume that this dryer will have both a cold water hookup, similar to other whirlpool dryers that have a steam setting, and also a drain hose, since I don't see a condensate container. Wouldn't it be able to use the condensate or tap water to remove excess heat w/o impacting room...

I am all for us all being more than well off!    Based on the cordial discourse and the ease at which we AW members frequently reach a harmonious agreement, I am sure GE appliances would run smoothly under our collective direction.

washdaddy: It uses more water than 58 gallons per hour. That is how much 180F rinse water, used for in the final rinse for sanitizing, it uses per hour.

That is the washer my family had when I was growing up. It had a peanut-butter colored super roto-swirl agitator.

Perhaps it has to do with how much soil is in the load. I have experienced sudsing with finish quantum when using the power scrub cycle. That cycle on my dishwasher does a heated prerinse and flush at a minimum, so I imagine there isn't much soil left by the time the wash starts with fresh...
