Kitchen Pics of 1956 home never lived in

I hate this story. He not only gutted the kitchen, but all the rest of the rooms as well. He had a personal blog showing the carnage, but he took it down. I suspect he received some serious hate mail. The idiot also posted the address of the home. The kicker: he ripped out an authentic mid...

Wow, that washer is mint! I'm always surprised at how the really cool colors never seemed to catch on; poppy is nice looking!

Sandy- KDS15 panel your looking for

If Hobart still makes a compatible seal, that would be awesome.  The original part is NLA.  I would love the frames/trim; the panel seriously looks like yellow enamel, I would have never guessed it was a custom wood front!  This way I can preserve the original avocado panels.

Sandy- KDS15 panel your looking for

Alan, are you parting this machine out?  If so, could I purchase the panels and door seal?  The panel looks to be close to sunny yellow, which would match my stove and fridge!  My KDI-15 has avocado panels, but I can't bring myself to paint them; it's a nice looking shade of green.

Allen, Here's a pic of the charcoal fridge.  The seller wanted $4500 for it last year.  Not surprisingly, it never sold.

1961 Frigidaire refrigerator in Tucson (NATE!!)

The GE runs for about a week with no issues and then the temps go all wonky; I suspect it's the 50+ years of grime underneath, as once I cleaned it a bit, it massively improved.  I've had to stop work on it momentarily to prepare for the big holiday next week and to also work on a certain feisty...

1961 Frigidaire refrigerator in Tucson (NATE!!)

Although...I could totally do a pink kitchen.  Or charcoal.  Basically any of the Frigidaire colors from the late 50s/early 60s.  And if they're from the Sheer Look line...bonus!

    Vintage/Retro Refrigerators - CL finds

That Frigidaire is from the 60s. I always find it interesting that if something is turquoise, folks assume it's from the 50s.

That Frigidaire is nice looking! Hope someone saves it!

Kenmore 24" Washers from c.1960, are they rare?

I love vintage campers; a lot of them are like little mid century houses with scaled fixtures and appliances. It's delightful.

    Turquoise Stove

Vintage Frigidaires were so well designed! Hope someone picks this up.

    Could this be Charcoal ???

I love the charcoal; it would pair nicely with sunny yellow too!

    World of Tile Liquidation Sale

I did; we were the readers that shared the scoop with her which ended up getting her a lot of exposure.    I spoke with the woman running the sale; the whole thing is just depressing.  The Nissan dealership next door bought the property and will be demoing it.  The showroom is incredible; they...

    World of Tile Liquidation Sale

If anyone is looking for vintage new old stock tile, this might be the perfect opportunity. World of Tile in Springfield, NJ is liquidating the entire contents of the store. I was there on Sunday and they still had more tile than I've ever seen. I'm guessing there's at least $100K in tile...
