WOW! Mom's washer exactly. She just got it serviced ... took 12 minutes and a $2.75 part. The guy who serviced it is the son of the man who sold it to her in 1983. He told her to never get rid of it -- she'll never find that kind of quality again.

Ugh ... I hate following some fool in the laundry room who's used these stenched-up laundry products in the machines I'm using. It's so strong the residue is picked up on my own clothes and bed linens, and for the next week I have to endure it.

I think ... ... this is more a problem with the design of front-loading washers than with laundry pods (although I'm a purist and prefer measuring my own detergent anyway).
