    Washing Machine Pictures

the machine shakes vigorously a lot of the times nowadays Since when have proper Hoovers ever not? What does their age have to do with them needing a new machine? I know I'm being rather rude and out of line but thats the most stupid excuse I've ever heard for scrapping a washing machine. It...

After a week of the new hoover (Vision 964ZD).....

My Mum's Whirlpool does that You can hear it squeaking as the rubber rubs on the drum, the seal is worn away at the top and if you put your hand inside the top of the seal it's full of shredded rubber. Hey ho, the machine was free anyway and none of us are the least bit fond of it (Pointlessly...

    Hoover Electron 600 On Ebay

The powder button Opens the dispenser drawer, it's the same on my Ecologic (tarted up energy control Electron). I don't really know why they bothered, it's perfectly easy to open the dispenser by hand, makes for an nice unusual feature though =). I think the blocks you are referring to are...

    Utility Rooms

if your laundry is so dirty you fear it would contaminate fo I'm very worried about how often you change them... Clothes go from the basket in the bathroom, downstairs into the machine, then out into the back garden or upstairs to dry. It's not as if we smear our dirty underwear on the...

The summer that wasn't rolls to a close....

Same up in Newcastle Leaves turning and dropping, dark nights starting to draw in, chilly, rainy, windy and generally dull and miserable. The typical "British summer" I suppose. It did get up to 22c (72F) here today before the rain set in, hottest it's been for a few weeks :). Matt

    Hoover Electron 600 On Ebay

Dual Spin The machine has a half (600) and full (800) spin buttons. The other machines in the lineup apart from the 600 had that too. They just put that name on the 800 spin model as a marketing ploy I'd imagine. Matt

    Utility Rooms

I think it's a cultural/ personal preference I prefer to have my washer in the kitchen, although the bathroom would be handy instead of lugging washing downstairs. Laundry rooms are an unecessary luxury in my opinion. When I stayed in a holiday home in Florida, the washer and dryer (DD...

    1971 G.E. Washer Dryer Combo

I know american machines have shorter wash times But max 8min wash? You're kidding me right? lol. Still, looks like a fantastic machine, beautiful styling and a bit out of the ordinary. Would love to see it in action. Matt

Video of the 1989 Frigidaire model WDD-W-3

I don't really have a clue about top loaders and their w But I was wondering if there is any benefit of an indexing tub over a non-indexing tub? Or if it actually hinders the washing action? Enquiring minds must know. Matt

    Zanussi Delta FL882

The drum It's got the Tricity Bendix drum, fascia and door. I'm guessing since this is a BOL machine it shares the same parts as the Tricity Bendix machines (which was the BOL brand from electrolux at the time) I haven't seen one before. I wonder if this machine was designed for the...

Never seen a washer but we had a Carlton compact dryer from 1988-1999. I was a rebadged White Knight, but in grey, great little machine! Only replaced cos it was kept in the garage and my Dad backed the car into it, lol. My friend still has a Carlton Freezer too, it's also in grey. :-) Matt

    Whirlpool Dispenser drawer help

Hi all, My mum's 3 year old Whirlpool AWM5125/S has a problem with the dispenser. Where most machines have valves to change which compartment of the dispenser is filled, these have a sort of lever mechanism. Well, thats stopped working. I tried to have a go at it myself but I can't figure out...

    Hotpoint FDD912 graphite *NEW*

Sorry if I came across as trying to slag his dishwasher off I guess on the plus side they do wash rinse and dry perfectly well, and are easier to load and perform better than Zanussi made dishwashers from my experience. They just don't seem to last very long and are easily damaged...

    Hotpoint FDD912 graphite *NEW*

Another thing The metal on the front is paper thin, so it will dent at the drop of a hat. The plastics make the ageing brittle fascias of 80/90s Hotpoint washers feel strong and sturdy. I guess these machine cover the 90% of consumers who are only interested in a dishwasher than looks pretty...

    Hotpoint FDD912 graphite *NEW*

My mum has the ariston version of this It's THE WORST dishwasher I have ever seen or had the misfourtune of using. So awkward to load, so flimsy, so cheaply made. The kickplate falls off if you so much as look at it and its got huge dents in the front from where people have bumped into it. The...

    Hotpoint WM52

I used to have a WM52 Yes the cycles are fast, but they don't wash very well. Would be ok if you only wash small loads of lightly soiled clothes, but if like us it is to be used to wash sports kit and baby clothes it will be pretty much hopeless. Theyre not that reliable from my experience...
