Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Easta Special..

Here you go Mike. I finally replaced my 70 year old furnace last month, so I will have room to put these side by side. The washer had a bearing fail last Fall, so it is now out in the garage. It should be a Summer project to get it up and running again, so I can finally displace these as they should be.
The dryer came from the Aberdeen farm. Robert spent many hours on the dryer restoration years ago.

Just look at those things.....

THEY'RE GORGEOUS. You know what, Rick, when I thought about asking you the other day, in my mind I called them your towers in Easter egg colors, and today you call them the "Easta Special." Love it when that stuff happens. I hope they last as long as your furnace--70 Years. Thanks. Be dreamin' tonight about a set in sunset shades of red and orange. Hey, Just thought of a cool second career, painting Tower sets in brilliant color combos, tangerine and lemon.....

PeterH770: your mat looks very good! I thought you had Wasco Gen 6 machines. Maybe you could take one ore two of those dryers out to a cornfield and "officespace" them.

Truth Serum

John, I didn't expect you to "sing" so early in the interrogation. I was thinking that the Kelvinator went into the Kenmore so easily it wouldn't take nearly as much effort to photoshop a Gray Tower Set.

Hi Jon! Yes, the washer came via Greg, from Lee Maxwell. The washer has a bad bearing, and is out in the garage right now. Be a project for this summer, or fall.

The old gravity furnace just used too much gas. There was not a thing wrong with it otherwise. (took up too much room too) I'll post before and after pics sometime in Super. I have more room in the basement now, so look out!

Does anyone know who got the charcoal set yet??? I would sure hope that someone will share pics with us....

Thanks for the kind words Kenny! You know you are always welcome here anytime.

Mum's the word, Rick

and speaking of Easta, still not a peep. Strange. I'd like to see pics and hear the good news too.

Jon check my FB wall on April 18th.  Chad from the vacuum side of the family posted it.  I was planning on posting it here a week before the sale, but Dwight beat me to it.

Is it still a mystery as to who might have bought the set?  I hope it went to someone in the aw family.
