My dear friends, the Kaceys, had the '58 Custom Imperial pair in this exact color, charcoal gray and the matching Imperial refrigerator with the bottom freezer and step pedal.Their dishwasher was a 1957 KitchenAid Superba in stainless steel and a Suburban gas cooktop with the matching 24" wide wall oven.Their flooring in the kitchen was all black linoleum with tiny sparkles in it and the walls had stainless steel tiles on them. They were "the Jonses" of our street and had lots of firsts including a built in pool, garage,Lincoln Continental, microwave oven (Montgomery Ward made by Tappan),and a European ten speed racing bike.Nobody else had any of those "luxuries" yet but,I got my first ten speed bike (Iverson, piece of shit)that year(1970)and wound up getting their washer and refrigerator when they replaced them with newer models. Frigidaire had just been dropped by GM and Ms Kacey insisted on a Maytag. She first replaced the washer with a new Maytag and the refrigerator with a sxs Amana. Both in almond.Nowhere near as beautiful as the previous set.
