Impact 66...

was a promo film for dealers and salesmen, not the public. Companies would even put on mini-musicals written by very talented composers (like the guy who wrote "Fiddler on the Roof" &c) and librettists for their sales conventions, some of them really excellent, they've gotten increasing recognition in recent years. The narrator here sounds like Lorne Greene but not sure about that. Chev always did a 1/2 hour new model year promotion on Bonanza, remember that? IMO the cars AND ads sure were better back then! yymv!

You'll miss all my stories when I'm in the home

That video brings back a lot of awful memories. Like Simba the circus elephant would help with putting up the big top tent, occasionally I was asked to help when cheap-skate customers wanted to skip the delivery charge and take their 24 cubic foot Admiral Duplex home with them. You'd walk out to a Toyota Corolla and hear "just put it in the back seat". Air conditioners were some of the worst. Way back then they were bigger and much heavier than the made-in-China models they have today. I remember standing back while some idiot would try and push a big 220 volt Frigidaire into their back seat while the upholstery got totally destroyed. I liked working in the shop much better.
