it had better prepare my meals, too...and do so in a snazzier paint colour than HG

I don't think they're HG. I suspect it's a case of photographer error. I suspect these are woodtone brown. The fridge color doesn't quite look like HG. I'm wondering if the seller had their finger near/over the flash.
