Hi there!
At the beginning of the summer, I found my GE Americana P7. Right off the bat, we noticed that the sensi-temp burner wasn't working and doesn't appear to have worked for quite some time, due to crud buildup on the burner. I see that this is a common affliction among sensi-temp appliances. The other thing that we noticed is that our clock doesn't work, which leads to the automatic outlet and self-cleaning oven being dysfunctional. We got a new screw-in fuse hoping that might solve the problem, but it did not.
Looking for sage advice from all of you! What are the best avenues to search for in order to get everything working again? I contacted GE some months ago and they sent me the user manual from their archives that was closest to mine, but not quite the same. They were very kind, but ultimately couldn't help with the problems my range is having. I would love to keep her in full working order!
