Franklin GE's
Yes John, I can attest to this, the one from the museum is almost through a belt now with about 4 loads per week. It's a neat machine, but even with low-doses HE detergent, it is still a froth machine. My friend who is using it now reports that the kitchen sink drain, which is nearby will start backing suds up through it. He did comment that it made the whole area smell like fresh laundry though. One other issue is the spin-drain on this machine comes up to speed too quick and goes out of balance too easy. While the suspension seems to cope alright in terms of shaking and banging, seldom does it ever reach full spin speed. My friend has to run the machine twice a lot of times to rinse things due to poor extraction from OOB. I have to say though, it's almost like that area was made for that machine, it's very convenient and fit nicely.
