Well, I think it's time to offer up this beast for someone who has more time for it than I do. It was given to me for nothing, and I'm offering it up for the same.

The machine is working. Mostly. Recently, it's started not draining on it own, and not recirculating water consistently. Also, the tub is sagging to the back left. The machine was missing feet when I got it, and recently the last one broke off.

I like the machine, but I don't have time to repair it, nor the know how. My use case for a machine that could handle pet fur never materialized either. Also I only have so much space, and I'm looking for something that better suits our situation.

Included are two mini-baskets with their filter pans, a standard filter pan, and a fabric softener dispenser.

Any questions, please don't hesitate!

That’s awesome of you to pass this machine on. I hope someone takes you up on your offer as these were great machines. This one was built in February 1991. The mini baskets, filter pans, and softener dispensers are probably worth more than the machine itself these days. Lol!

I've been lurking on this website for wayyyy long, and had to finally become a member to make sure this machine doesn't go to waste. This one would be my 'dream' machine if I were to choose one. The repairs it needs are just part of the game, so I'm not intimidated. If there's a longer tenured member who is interested in this machine, that's fine mistereric. But now you know you have at least one person who can step in if needed. Send me an email if you want to talk about it further.

Hi all,

Some other info - the machine does spin, but does not always drain.

Also, I prefer to keep the whole set together.

Melvin - I'm glad to give it a good home with someone who can maintain it and enjoy it. It was given to me, so its only fair.

Keith - I've reached out, will let you know.

Thanks!

Nice to see a filter flo that survived briefly into the nineties...

Discovered it's not as much pet hair as it is grass that my machine I have gets rife with often clogging up the drainage so I avoid doing my pet linen... Unless that grasss will get more thoroughly shaken out...

Good luck getting her fully restored and fully operational...

Say, if you are going to toss the washer, I would be interested in getting a mini basket from you to fit my ge standard capacity washer with the ramp agitator. Let me know, thank you

Yes, all, this machine is very free and very much in need of a new home very shortly. It's up and out of the basement which would make getting it a lot easier. Husband is not happy and says the machine is getting a sticker for the trash shortly. I would hate to see if crushed, but there is no room at the inn.

Any takers? Doug, I am happy to pass off the mini basket, the filter trays and softener dispenser are also available if the machine gets scrapped.
