Me thinks there's something not quite right with the was
Louie, I noticed the pause is wayyy to long between end of agitation and beginning of spin for both the wash and rinse portions, especially for this style of timer, which is the continuously moving timer and not the timer that moves an increment every 45 seconds. I kept hearing two or three times some sort of clank noise (that doesn't sound like a timer noise) that sounds like the motor is trying to start up for the spin/drain and the windings aren't quite right. then it finally catches and starts the spin/drain. when I moed here in 1986, I had friends that had that same washer and it only paused for about 10 seconds between end of agitation and start of spin for those phases. Kind of like at the end of the wash spin and as it begins to coasst to a stop, just a few seconds later the water beigins coming in before it stops spinning. That coasting and beginning of adding water was the clue to me that this wasn't the "snapping" timer, as I call it, that advanced an increment every 45 seconds.
