I wonder if it is a local/regional/one-off marketing thing.

A few years ago our local Coop had Henkel's Dixan as a one-off discount, sadly never to be seen again (here, at any rate). Cleaned fine, not a terribly great fragrance, but acceptable.

I've seen the Senti-mat on ebay once but never the Prudax or  others,  whish I could find the Prudax  and some others though.....I'm very curious, the TAID makes me laugh, I don't know the pronunciation in German or French but here in italian Taid is how an english speaking would  pronunce Tide! LOL

Also, prudax in italian sound like the verb "prudere" which means "Itchy" so I'm sure it would not have that success..... LOL

I bought a box. It cleans really well, doesn't suds up and rinses out easily. It doesn't include a scoop unfortunately.

The scent is somewhat unusual and not something I'm really keen on, however the cleaning quality is outstanding for the price so I can't complain really. It's cleaned everything I've thrown at it including stained tea towels and white socks

no scoop its really sudsy in my indesit on quick 60 only used it once rinsed out well. Smell in unusual, would i buy it again Yes

Soft water....

Knowing how soft your water is down there( my uncle lives just outside Tavistock) you may need the lowest dose lol.....
