I just got a call from my folks and someone near where they live is getting rid of a likely 1950s GE range for free. It has pushbuttons and salt and pepper shakers.

The model number is one of a few possibilities (my mother saw it and had a hard time telling a few characters):

ij408
1j406
ij406

It has a 30 inch oven and a narrow 10 inch oven next to it.

My folks can pick it up and store it for a little while. It was in very VERY good condition. It is located in Manassas, VA a suburb of Washington, DC.

PLEASE REPLY TO THIS THREAD IF YOU HAVE A SHRED OF INTEREST!!!!

I'm sorry, but I don't have any pictures of it and, being in Cincinnati, I can't go and take any. If you think it's worth saving, pictures can be taken at my parents' house.
