I found Ariel pods at my local Walmart. They look identical to tide pods. Anyone use them? Do they do a good job? Also, and possibly more importantly, do they smell like tide pods? I can't stand the smell of the tide pods, but if these smell different I would like to try them.

Thanks for any help! :)

Depends....

Which Market they are for.

For example, we have Ariel Pods in the UK (Ariel is basically our Tide, as we don't have the Tide brand).

Having both Ariel (UK) and Tide (US) pods, can tell you, they are nothing alike in scent. Of course, being both P&G, they look the same except colour, Ariel are blue/purple.

The scent of Ariel pods are lovely, very hard to describe, but they are a clean (maybe a little, {and only a little} sweet) scent.

I've looked in at least 6 Walmarts when I was in different areas and have yet to find the Ariel Pods. I could be wrong but when I seen a pic of the package I thought the font looked more like the Euro Font for Ariel. However I'd bet its the Mexican version. I've also wondered about ingredients in these and scent as I can not stand any of Tides pods scents, except the Free version.
Blues, please let me know how these preform and smell if you do try them. Thanks Cheryl

Ok, you guys convinced me :)

Alright. I am going to try it. Mama, would you like me to send you some? You know you want some :)

Blues sweety, that's a very kind offer Thank You, but I'm gonna pass. I'm affraid it will be like Tide and Ace pods..good at their job, but can't tolorate the scent, even though my machine rinses most scents out its that before they are rinsed stinking up my laundry room. .but again Thank You....Cheryl
