We are experiencing major downtime today on both automaticwasher.org and Vacuumland. It has been reported that they planned a maintenance upgrade at 2am BUT something went very wrong and outages spilled into the morning. The maintenance was planned. The problems that resulted were not.

There are millions of websites down because of this issue and the internet is alive with livid webmasters!

Hopefully they will get what ever problems they are having fixed, but its been at least 8 hours now so I have no idea how long this might take.

Thanks everyone for your patience.

YAY AW is back up (for now?)

It took me 5 or 6 tries to realize it was probably a server issue.

My connection here at work isn't the fastest, but it always connects, if sometimes slowly.

Great to hear it's back up, or mostly back up!   I was starting to have withdrawls... LOL

was having issues all day.......just got back on...so far....its 5PM EST in NewJersey.....

thought it was my laptop.....everything else loaded fine except AWO.....I think were good...

AWO withdrawl will make you go bonkers....lol

A TON Andy lol. Between aw and Vacuumland members, although I do appreciate the concern and heads up. The first one came in at 3:30am this morning.

My pleasure Louis :-)

Our ISP just announced The resolution towards fixing the data center network issues continues. You'll continue to see sites working and then not working (as well as not work at all depending on your connection and location) until the datacenter has this resolved. We'll keep you updated.

I only noticed and outage

between 1430 and 1500 CDT otherwise the site has worked fine.  It was also fine @ 0450 this morning when I logged on before work.  Again Robert, I can't thank you enough for all you do.

Yogi,  I find it interesting that you could not get back on for an hour after I could 1700 EDT VS. 1500 CDT.  Funny how these things work.

It's going to be intermittent for probably the rest of today, hopefully they will have it all resolved by tomorrow. If something is blank, try holding down the shift key and clicking on refresh/reload in your browser.

Thanks Robert....everything is back in place, and seems to pick up speed.....but I figured were gonna be on and off, back and forth for a while....

thanks for your input and help....

we are lost without AWO, aren't we guys?....we check in, all is well, and were good to go....lol

Whew......glad that's over!

Thought you were playing a Friday trick on us to remind us of how lucky we are to have this precious place. The forced writer's block was frustrating, but I spared you an email, guessing your inbox was flooded to the max.

"The internet is alive with livid webmasters! " Loved that line.
