Well, Terry and I found it today at the Habitat store and it's for Ben so he's had a pretty good week! I've only ever seen one other like this, several years ago at a thrift store. I didn't know much about it but have since learned a little more and recognized this one on sight. I actually saw this very oven at an estate sale a couple of months ago, built into a cabinet in the kitchen. Of course, since it was built in, it had to stay with the house. I remember looking at the book and noticing that the owner had written her name and date of purchase inside the front cover. Elizabeth Gerard bought her RMC-30 on August 15, 1981. Oddly enough, the information that she wrote in the o/m for the oven lists Town & Country Appliance, Newton IA.

HOLY COW!

Good gawd I'm only a few months older than this thing.

Unbelievable Greg. Just unbelievable. I all the time that Cory and I have been dragging Radaranges home, neither of us have seen the convection Amana. I think I found the repair literature for it some time ago, but I seem to recall it was for the RMC-20. Hell, I just love the model number - sounds so Delorean like! Appears to have a larger footprint than a standard RR as well. Can't wait to zap something in it!

We'll have to find a plastic tub Whirlpool or GE to test your claim ;-)

I can't thank you enough Greg, and cannot wait to see this later in December. Make sure to turn on your heating pad tonight, looks heavy!
