Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I have a De Dietrich double oven which I've been very impressed with and the induction hob (cook top) is now 14 years old and gets extremely heavy use and still works flawlessly!

Best Appliances by Type --> Brand

Washer and dryer: My Huebschs have worked flawlessly for 6 years.

Refrigerato: Just had to replace freezer fan after 6 years on 2009 Whirlpool model ($156 repair). Paid $700 bucks for the unit so I expect a min 10 year lifespan. But if I were to purchase a TOL fridge (stainless/dual doors/bottom freezer) I would do some serious research... Not gonna cough up 2K for something that will last 10 years. But for 10 years, less than $900 is fine for me.

Range: My father's hand-me-down Raytheon made Modernmaid is indestructible after over 25 years. No heating element were ever replaced and the oven lightbulb just gave out for the first time last week. I feel this range will cook my last meal.

European/Swiss point of view

Hi guys

I'll keep it short

washing machine --> V-Zug (but a combination of Miele, Zug and Schulthess would be the best)

heat pump dryer --> V-Zug or Miele (Never BSH or Schulthess, they have same parts)

dishwasher --> Miele (but V-Zug has much shorter washing times) or Siemens/Bosch

convection-steam oven --> V-Zug (very easy to use on a daily basis, Miele has to many possible settings)
a vacuum-drawer would be a nice thing to (see the link)

convection-oven --> Miele (to me, their interior seems to be the best), Gaggenau (I think it's the most beautiful design) or the double-convection oven from WOLF

american range/ range cooker --> definitely WOLF

fridge --> SUBZERO or Liebherr

cooking hob --> Gaggenau gas hob or Bora induction hob

range hood --> Bora or Wesco

vacuum --> Miele

mixer --> of course KitchenAid

coffee machine --> DeLonghi Nespresso if capsule used, Jura if whole coffee beans and the best thing would be a real Italian espresso machine, they are really expensive a good one for home use costs 4000 Euro/CHF
