OK, we know this is something of a rarity, and there will be a scramble when the auction is ending.

I would just ask that in the mean time people do not inflate the price by bidding now, before the end of the auction for that will help no one, just make it more expensive. It does not end in the middle of the night so please, no bidding until then which will perhaps leave it in the scope of collectors who want it just as sincerely as anyone else but do not have as deep pockets as some of the rest of us.

That's great that someone thought of you this way!  I wish there was more NIB vintage stuff around.  When my parents have asked me what I wanted for Christmas or birthday, I have said a check.  Not to the inconsiderate or rude, but they know I do the best shopping for myself.

 

If someone finds a NIB GE monitor top, antique radio, etc, bring it on!
