I saw it on Christmas Eve, 10pm show at the Barrett Pkwy AMC in Kennesaw, GA. The theater was practically empty. I think the few people that were there decided that they could openly give opinions and laugh whenever they saw fit. No excuses for ignunt asses.
It was hard to remember that the movie takes place over some 20+ years, except for the length of the sideburns and the women's style.
At the end of the movie, the message of the film dawned on me: if society was more accepting, these two people would have been happy and not screwed up people around them. A little too preachy for me.
I also have the sudden urge to tell people that I love them.
