early Toros
We had 3 '68/69 Toros along with '56 & '57 88 converts, and started the Blue & Gray Chapter of the Olds Club of America. All 3 had discs and 455s. Just a fabulous, fantastic road & trip car, but 10-12 mpg at best, and some early models did have chronic carb leaks and a propensity to catch on fire if not dealt with properly. I'd love to have another '66-70 Toro, but after '70 I lose interest, 71-on were so clunky compared to 1st Gen Toro, America's most sophisticated and advanced car of the 1960s imho.
