I once asked what company manufactured ModernMaid ranges for Raytheon and I got a reply that Caloric did and in the reply (or one of them), someone mentioned that the brand may soon resurface. Anyone of you got any info to that effect?

Yes,

but it depended on the type of range. I recall a gas Modern Maid slide in being sourced from Whirlpool, unless the Whirlpool was sourced from Raytheon. They were side by side in an upmarket appliance store back in 1988.
The combination dishwasher/ranges I think were marketed also as Caloric, but don't quote me on that. They used a DM (Design Manufacture) of Indiana dishwasher, so maybe DM made the entire units. DM made Caloric, and Kenmore dishwashers.
This was during the time of much conglomerate merging. Tappan was making gas ranges for GE, but soon ended all production in Mansfield Ohio. Whirlpool acquired Roper, who was also making gas slide in ranges branded for GE, or GE was making electric slide in ranges for Roper. It was a confusing time for the industry.

MM Lee Properties I read ended up with the Caloric name a few years ago and was going to introduce a new line, but nothing came of it that I know of.

Caloric ended up being part of with Amana/Raytheon and the name faded away during the mid-to late 90s.

Modern Maid supplied some cooktops to GE.
