The wires attached to the sensor and covered with a ceramic puddle just gave way. Elec repair shop says it cannot be fixed. I cannot find one anyplace on the internet. Does anyone know where I can find one? I clipped the wires at the other end and connected them together so the burner works but I have no heat control - just high or off.

Thanks for the help.

Ebay is your best bet. None currently listed but keep checking. Or you can follow the search and ebay will send you an email when one is listed. Prices vary greatly because they haven't been produced for many years. You'll see some listed for more than $200.00. I got one on ebay earlier this year for $60.00. At the same time I've seen John LeFever (combo52) mention here in the past to other people needing one that he had some good used ones he would sell.

I might have one

Can you post a photo . I had a stove like that,I have a few sensers here .Not sure which is which .Tappan Fab400 or GE.This is one reason I try not to throw anything away.Photo will help.Thanks,John.And if I do have it you can thank John L.He has always left me with extra parts with stuff he has brought here.
