Cascade Boil Out Sudsing?

⅛ cup (2 tablespoons) works fine in hard water with minimal sudsing. Most coffee scoops are that size.
I use 1 tsp prewash, 3 teaspoons (1 tbsp) for main wash (3-1/2 tsp for heavy soiling). 0.8 gal fill. No suds. Unsoftened well water.

This version of Cascade, has a anti-foaming agent. Honestly, you may want to check out your rinse aid dispenser in conjunction with using less. Your rinse aid dispenser, may be leaking.

I completely agree with this statement.
I have never witnessed a single bubble with Fryer Boil Out, though we have hard water. Usually something with Dawn or another sudsy product is left on the dishes if we have any sudsing at all.

Even with my water softener I didn't have any sudsing issues when I tried the fryer boil out. I just didn't care for it and went to Premiere powdered detergent with chlorine. It doesn't suds at all and does a great job. My glassware feels velvety smooth when it's finished even without Jetdry (my dispenser is leaking so I quit using it).
Simethicone
For anyone with sudsing problems or over-sudsing problems, I repeat my suggestion to get some simethicone. You can get it at the drug store in the digestive products section. You use less in a dishwasher than in a clothes washer, but it will keep down suds or knock them down if you notice that they are suddenly billowing. I buy the 180 mg gel caps for the safety of my neighborhood.
The other thing you can do with a clothes washer is to add a few drops of fabric softener chased with a cup or so of hot water through the detergent dispenser, but do not use fabric softener in a dishwasher. Simethicone is perfectly safe to use in either machine.

Boil out sudsing:
I have only noticed this in the Pre-Wash of very heavily soiled loads with my WP PC. There is never over about 3/4 inch of suds if I open the door. Once the machine changes the water for main wash no more suds. I do have VERY soft water. I would not worry about this unless it inhibits DW performance.
