Besides coffeemakers, I have an 'attraction' for Corning ware...It is amazing that there were so many patterns made besides the 'traditional' blue cornflower.
AAAh yes, the classic corningware pattern! I've got my grandmother's set with this classic cornflower pattern on them...they date from somewhere in the early 60's... The bowl you have found probably dates a little later though, considering it says it's for microwave use. I believe this pattern was discontinued about 10 years ago though wasn't it?
That pie plate, without the cornflower and inverted, is what covers the microwave antenna and stirer in the bottom of my Amana micro-thermal oven. Since Corning Ware is no longer manufactured, I'll bet that part is NLA.
