Christmas eve in Australia

Well it is now Christmas eve here in Australia and here in Sydney it is a little warm with lots of rain(thank goodness and do we ever need plenty of it),and I must admit to feeling a little bit sentimental over family and friends who have passed on, and yet I also feel a warm glow inside over the joy of sharing this wonderful time of year with those I hold dear who are still with me.
I wish all my cyber-friends on this great site a very merry christmas and the best of fortune and happiness for the new year ahead.

Merry Christmas Eve Australia!
Its still very warm here in perth at 10:03pm, we have the air conditioning pounding away (thank god for ducted-reverse cycle!)
I'm not too well at the moment, i have been working really hard at IGA (the supermarket i work at) and finally i had a little fall off a ladder the other day, didn't hurt much initially but now its quite painful, lots of sleepless nights ahead methinks. Still at least i might be able to catch good ole Santa Claus (aka Mum with a wig on) lol.

Heres a pic of me yesterday attending a wedding at Mindarie Marina just 20k's north of where i live on the coast, a beautiful place for a wedding.

Have a good Xmas everyone around the world, hope you all get what you want.

And surprisingly is cold and overcast in BNE, which is a pleasant change from the stinky hot morning it ususally starts with.

Merry Xmas to you both in Oz

I don't feel all tht jealous..it's so green, sunny and warmish here as well, only a sweater needed to take the dogs for their walk this afternoon it doesn't feel very Christmassy at all. Supposed to be 8-10 C. today. Not the snowy Xmas in Canada one would expect.

Merry Christmas to everyone in Oz. I have cousins in Australia to whom I write frequently; and I am always checking the news from down under (www.smh.com, in particular). I would love to go there someday, if it weren't so far away!!!
