Thanks for the tour of your city!

Now where are the cheese steak sandwiches? <:

Darren, thanks so much for the tour!! I really enjoyed it. Philly looks like a great city. Those pretzels sure look good.,

Amtrak rocks!

OMG I LOVE trains. We have Metro-link here, very limited but still fun. Your city looks awesome, thanks for the peep.

Nice Pix!

Wish you had one of my favorites, the PSFS building. Love that 50s retro look. I think it's now actually something else, but they decidedd to leave the unique sign up because it was Phila's first skyscraper.

Always enjoy visiting the City of Brotherly Love >smirk<

I used to cop out of high school and either pay to ride the metroliner to Philly or hop the freight cars to get there. It took around 90 minutes and I'd go to Hunting Park Avenue to visit the guys at FRIGIDAIRE SALES CORPORATION and had lunch with George Ferill, the vice president of the company. I began writing letters and he was the one who wrote me back sending me promo pens, pencils, pocket protectors and note pads that had FRIGIDAIRE all over them. One day while there,I had an epileptic sezure and wound up having to go to the local ER.My Dad had to drive all the way to Philly to come get me and he was furious! I was grounded for two weeks. But,George called me and sent me the top secret (it wasn't going to hit the market for another 7 months)info on the new Touch-N-cook range!By the time it hit the market,I knew everything about it and went to local dealerships to play with the display models. The dealers didn't mind and were real surprised how much I knew already.I've had a few of them and wish they had kept them going.

"mmmmm pretzels" says Homer Simpson

Love #23 of the blue lights, looks like a metallic ladder from the future, and the stunned guy coming out of the Pretzel Factor--fabulous. What a neat lookin' city.
Have never been there, be great to see it some time. Was the movie Philadelphia actually shot there ? Any other well-known movies. Thanks for the tour, Darren.
