It i s obvious to me...

That this poor, abused and tortured washer has finally had enough. It wants to get out, but hasn't anymore the strength to wrench itself free to make a run for it.

"And how effing dare anyone out there make fun of Speed Queen; after all she's been through."

"She lost her edge, she went through a bad spin cycle, she had two effing LEAKS, her owner turned out to be a user and abuser and now she's going through a battle with rust...all you people care about is how much water she uses and making fun off of her...SHE'S A WASHING MACHINE!!!!"

"What you don't realize is that Speed Queen is washing all your clothes for you and all you do is write a bunch of crap about her!!"

"She hasn't been wiped down or serviced for years. Her sounds are loud for a reason - because all you people want from her is wash, wash, wash, wash, WASH! LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!"

"You're lucky she even washes for you BASTARDS!!! LEAVE SPEED QUEEN ALONE!!!!!"

'Throws back head, wipes bangs from forehead and runs out of room sobbing uncontrollably'

POOR OLD SQ-what are they trying to do?Renact "Will It Spin"Does it have the SUITCASE in it that someone was trying to wash in a SQ washer a while back--hard side bag at that.In that one the washer lid was popping open and closed during the agitate cycle.Poor abused washer!!!Would love to give it a home!!But space!!It looks like the machine has lots of dings and dangs on the cabinet from its escape efforts.

Makes me think of mistreating old robots in those 'future' movies. I wonder how many thousands of loads that poor thing has done.

Probably a good number of loads as these machines are definitely work horses. RCD< I second your comment, it is amazing to me that those hoses can put up with a lot more than I would ever imagine.

WALKING WASHERS

We had customers in Bowie Maryland where Levitt built aprox 30,000 homes starting about 1959 through the early 1970s with GE V12 washers which walked so much they would bundle the power cord so it would unplug it self when it went wild. GEs liked to walk until they started using self leveling rear feet witch helped a lot with keeping all four feet on the ground.

I suspect that whoever made this video intentionally misleveled it so it would walk like that.
This washer appears to be in an apartment building basement. I hope the landlord sees this, and boots the guilty party out!
