Crown Made Some Nice Gas Ranges
But if you look closely they were not all that great, No SC ovens, not really rugged construction, broilers below the ovens, no radiant broiling, and on and on.
I would rather have a Caloric or a Hardwick from the same time period.

I'm with John re: Crown. The burner grates are flimsy like a cheap stove in a rental unit, and the overall design of these ranges is plain and boring IMO. Crowns may bake well, but if I were ever to own a vintage stove it would have to be something that both myself and my guests would admire. That would never be the case with any of the stoves pictured above.
