body cars were built in Ypsilanti Michigan, so only Buicks V8 engine was from Flint in the 1977 Skylark. Inline six was from Chevrolet of course, until'77 wehn the V6 was again offered. prior to the series 1 231 buick mill with even firing, fuel injection and plastic intakes, they were notorious for stalling on turns and soinning crank shaft bearings.
