The '72 Luxury LeMans was like the one I'd see while delivering papers at age 12, dreaming about owning a car. The 70's gave us pick up's with passenger car styled interiors. Hubby had a Chevrolet Beretta GTZ with digital instrumentation. My sister had the LS or GT model with analogue gauges, but the V6. One windy day, her drivers door was ripped right off it's hinge. Seat belts anchored on the door. Door gets ripped open in a crash, nothing keeping you anchored. GM, mark of excellence; before 1980 perhaps.
