Our family doctor
had a 1960 Chrysler Imperial just like the one in reply #50, only Dr. Vic’s was light blue. He always drove Chrysler’s.
And my Aunt Louise and Uncle Harold had a 1950 Dodge just like the one in reply #48. Those Chrysler products with Fluid Drive were something else, just about as convenient as an automatic, you could drive just about all day in high range, if the terrain was flat, and you weren’t in a hurry, and never have to use the clutch, just lift your foot off the gas to shift up or down between 3rd and 4th gears. And stop without needing to clutch and not stall, and start right back up again when the light changed by just giving it the gas. Very innovative.
