Warning the following is mostly a rant.
I swear I am going to change my screen name if I have one more appliance problem.
This time it's my year old, Well actually for warranty purposes 1 year and 11 day old Maytag 300 series dishwasher is on the fritz.
I had problems with it in March, the machine just started shutting down mid cycle. I could, however, restart it after a few minutes by pushing the cancel button and then re-starting. So I had the service man out, they determined it was the control panel and replaced it under warranty.
So now five months later it did it again last night, only this time it won't restart. It's just dead, and out of warranty. Estimated cost of repair $228. Is five to six months the best one can expect from a Maypool now? All I can say is the Maytag repair man is no longer lonley, poor guy is worked to death. Thanks Whirl-crap.
