Thanks for sharing these pictures Ingemar. Slovenia and Croatia is a part of the world I would love to visit one day. Can you tell us what washing machines are popular there? I should imagine that Gorenje has a huge market share, but what models are on the floor of a Slovenian store?

I also understand that in Slovenia you have Harvey Norman.

bajaespuma, the bridge in question is in Bosnia Herzegovina the city is Mostar and its in the south of that country. Beautiful place in pictures.

Bajaespuma, hi, I live in Slovenia near the Italian "border". (we are part of the European Union, so there are no more borders)
Arrrooohhh is right the bridge is in Mostar in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina which is now (since 1992) another Country. I've never been there but now that it has been rebuild it's sure a beautiful place.

Arrrooohhh, we have the same washers as the rest of Europe. Front loaders or horizontal asix top loaders. A lot of households owns the dryer especially in the continental part of the country which is more cold. Gorenje as the national brand has the biggest market share. The second most popular brand is Bosch and then Electrolux. (...Beko, Candy, Indesit)
Yes you are right we have Harvey Norman and you can see a few Fisher & Paykel fridge, but no washing machines It would be nice, but we are not used to agitator top loaders. Most of the people don't know of the existance of agitator top loaders here in Europe. Harvey Norman stores are really beautiful!
