Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

We've pulled many items from these pumps. In fact. my mother likes to use "color catcher" sheets in the washer on some loads. I'll usually get a call that the washer is full of h2o. Always find one of them damn sheets in the pump. We just went out to a friend's house that we had sold an Epic. He had 6, that's right, SIX, baby socks in the pump. Oh, and funguy, no, there are no videos available on that!

Small items, such as baby socks...

...as WE all know, should be put into those net laundry bags. But does (Mrs) Joe Public ever take heed?

And what about womens' under-wired brassieres? They cause problems with pumps when the wire escapes.

Boil wash is becoming one of my favorite things! Of my 3 Duomatics only one has a working water heater. I just did my first whites with the boil wash and let the machine go through two wash cycles for a total of 18 minutes boil wash.
After 9 miuntes the door glass was so hot I couldn't keep my hand on it! The whites came out sooo white again that I am sold that it is better than bleach!!

Boil wash for days! Now I'm gonna install new immersion heaters in the other Combos.

And I was a dyed in the wool Cloroxboy!

Hi Greg. When I was in Dr. Manny's shop 6 months ago, there was a Fridgemore front loader. It was given to Manny because the owner said it did not work. Manny discovered a kiddy sock in the pump, removed it, and sold the machine to me. It works like a charm and Manny showed me how to adjust the water level.

I had that wee Asko set some years ago and used the "boil" wash for many loads and I have done the two-wash cycle trick with my Duomatic and both gave spectacular results. I find it isn't necessary to do it every time, but now and then keeps them bright.

Now I REALLY want that Maytag Epic set to replace my Duets ;-)

Won't be able to rest, now, until i get a boil washer--t

But in the mean time for all of you non boilers, here's a treat: (but you probably already know this stuff)-----three other substitutes-----

Turn your tank up to hottest HOT

Use the dishwasher boil wash& rinse water, if you have access to the drain, for rags and other nasties.

Soak, starting in HOT, overnight in Tide with bleach--or at least an hour if you're in a hurry.

Jetcone and Gansky are so persuasive and influential around here--in the best way-- I wonder, how many of you, besides me, are determined now, to get a boil washer?!

Prewashing first in warm or cool follwed with a good spin THEN a soak will help avoid the nasties from redepositing in the clothing.

Of course, so will STPP.........!

HOW THE HECK DID THAT HAPPEN

The double post police are coming.

Greg isn't that neat? You were posting to me regarding the Visimatic in the same moment I was posting to you about the boilwasher, two ancient staples of the laundry, albeit only the one surviving. I love it when that happens.
