I suspect that the smaller tub forces a customer to use more than one machine, creating more revenue for the business.
Actually, I think this is for older Speed Queen models.
That's the answer.I suspect that the smaller tub forces a customer to use more than one machine, creating more revenue for the business.
It is dated 2013 at the bottom.Actually, I think this is for older Speed Queen models.
The only difference I see is the control panel.I came across this and I can't help but notice some difference. Why is the tub smaller on the commercial model? Does the Home-Style model have a larger/better balance ring? Why the difference between the two and is one better than the other?

Same for Maytag. That is an interesting theory. In addition to placing less strain on the machine if the tub was absolutely jam packed. Also the smaller tub could help with the shorter cycles topically found on coin-op and OPL machines.
It would be interesting to know about the transition between the two belt Raytheons and the single belt commercial design, they seem intrinsically related.
I wish Speed Queen made washers for Kenmore.
I've used the older Speed Queens. The fabric and temp selectors are a similar triangle shape. I've used one with a push to start knob before. The last time I used that model was in 2008.That's the answer.
You lost me, who was talking about buttons?I've used the older Speed Queens. The fabric and temp selectors are a similar triangle shape. I've used one with a push to start knob before. The last time I used that model was in 2008.
The differences are significant, you need to take a closer look second look.....The only difference I see is the control panel.
Nobody did, but I pointed out that the older commercial models had the triangle shaped selector knobs. The temp was on top while the fabric selector was on the bottom. Another thing I need to mention is the agitator had the 4 vanes all the way up, and the fill spout was integrated into the tub ring. That's what I remember about the older units. You lost me, who was talking about buttons?
