Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Besides that...

The US Bosch dishwashers don't have the heat exchanger (where water is preheated before it fills into the tub), nor do they have the storage tank to save final rinse water for the next prewash. I think the tubs are slightly deeper as well and you get much more, as we call tham, XXL dishwashers that are about two inches taller than the "normal" European units that are referred to as ADA Compliant in the US.

I guess a feature that'll be exclusive to the US is the MyWay drawer, primarily designed for bowls.

A year after I replaced all my kitchen appliances with Kenmore Elite, here comes Kitchenaid with the new model that has the window in it. Since the Kenmore Elite model I have is a clone of Kichenaid, there is one model of them that has a window too! Oh well, a day late a dollar short! I would imagine most of the middle to top of the line dishwashers would do a decent job these days. Whirlpool makes most of the popular ones now, like Maytag, Kichenaid and Whirlpool along with others.[this post was last edited: 2/4/2017-09:42]

Some may recall my last rant about the p.o.s. Kitchenaid of ours, and the previous one.. never again a Whirpool product will grace our beloved home. I know Tom A. also had a helluva time with his KA dishwasher. Bosch or back to Miele next time for me.

Autowash - What failed on your Whirlpool Gold? How long did it last? I've had one for at least 6 years, and it's been great. Curious as to how long I can expect it to last and what might fail first.

Any particular reason to not go with another Whirlpool Gold?
