Makes perfect sense to me Robert!!!!!!!

All of these "bad mortgages" would be paid off. Hence the log jam of these mortgages that are the root of the problem, gone. Credit begins to flow again.

It's so simple and perfect, who can argue with that!!

Mortgage? Paid off! Health care? Enough for life! $28,000 credit debt? Paid! (I know, I was an idiot about money until about 2 years ago. And I've paid off over $7,000 in debt in those two years, so I've actually come a long way.)

Sounds like a great plan to me!

Haste makes Waste!

Look how fast Congress got hoodwinked into the Iraq war by that snake in the Oval Office.

Congress is doing their job by examining things and voting down unacceptable policy until it better fits us, not the companies who have failed.

You've got the big picture, and the idea is right, but the devil is in the details of this administration, and things need to be checked, re-done, or re-examined. What do Bush and Cheney give a shit, the're lame ducks, 'so why not put some golden parachutes into the bill for their buddies.'

Let Congress(the House in this case) do thier job. It(Democracy) isn't perfect, but better than a dictatorship, which is what we have them to guard against in the first place.

NOT SO FAST, we're tired of getting DICKED by BUSH.

It's 700 billion, not 85, thats why it doesn't work. 700 billion dollars divided by 300 million people is $2,333.33 per capita. I am not aware of a number of over 18 legal taxpayers, but if it were the 200 million, then it would cost the average taxpayer $3,500.
