downy april fresh changed AGAIN!???

i was at target yesterday, the last time i bought downy april fresh was about 3 months ago at costco, (i still have a few loads left) target had the new bottles of downy that claim one week of freshness, the stuff i have also has renewing scent pearls but the stuff i smelled was TERRIBLE! the previous stuff smells baby powder-ish, the new stuff smells like sweet candy mixed with off bug spray. i don't understand why they keep changing the scent. i remember them changing it about a year ago when they introduced renewing scent pearls. it used to smell sort of like what april fresh did in the 80s but the new stuff is not even CLOSE!!!!! i think i am going to switch to purex.

I find all of the Downy(except the unscented)  and some of the new Snuggle scents too over powering yet I will still try a new one, only to continue to be disappointed.  Why are they all so sweet smelling.....YUCK...  I don't want the stuff bursting out in scent when you move and now we have one week of freshness.  Funny how having one week of an artificial scent has been turned into clothes being  fresh.

shake it

the instructions on the new bottle of downy I just bought say you have to shake it well before each use so maybe the smell would be different after you did that

Shaking the bottle does not help. I have been using the refill boxed Downy since its the scent that I like before the new 7 day stench came out. I really wish P&G would leave well enough alone sometimes. If you go onto their website for the Downy its amazing all the people that are not too happy about the scents.
