I saw an add this morning on TV for gel-filled laundry detergent packs called DROPPS. Anyone seen, heard of, or used these? They are said to work in HE or regular washers and to completely dissolve in Hot, Warm or Cold water! No more lugging that heavy jug of detergent. No more messy measuring. Life is so hard, but can be made easy.

They also make a Dropps (not dropped) Baby laundry detergent that is dye and fragrance free.

Looks like the product does not suds. Not cheap; almost $24 for 60 loads from various listings on a Google search. I don't know how the plastic equation works out between the gel packs in a paper box and liquid in a bottle.

I thought they disappeared from store shelves some time last year. Glad to see they are making enough to advertise on TV. Must mean they do a descent job and are making a gain in the marketplace...?

For What They Cost....

....I wouldn't use them with my home washer and dryer, but I'm glad to know they're available for traveling.

I got them at Wal-mart on clearance...

Disolves, and thats about it....not even good on light loads or dogs blankets....

never again!
