Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Richard

I was planning to bid on the Logic in Leeds but forgot about the auction as was busy that day with a Hoover Classica and a Servis Sapphire.

Seamus it would seem your not wrong!!!

Bids now over £150 ? It may be as good as new but sense and reason surely comes into play?

I wish who ever wins all the best there is but I cannot help feeling some have more money than sense!

Boy do I wish I had money :o(

It might LOOK as good as new

This machine must be what? 40 - 45 years old and in that time (as had been demonstrated so many times by our North American friends) rubber hoses and seals will likely have perished and split, not to mention the effects on the motor sitting unused for all that time. It would be a lovely machine to have but not at this (or a higher) price.

The ironic thing is that only a couple of weeks ago there was a Supertwin 100 (with the all stainless steel wash deck) on ebay at a very low price (was it 99p?) which I believe did not sell at all and yet it is fundamentally the same machine as this albeit several years younger.

This is agonising!

Have seen this on ebay for months now and agonised over it.

A lovely AEG 802T that the seller has patiently relisted and relisted and relisted again.
Unfortunately it appears that the patience is being exhausted and that it will be scrapped if no takers soon.

Were this machine closer to me then I would snap it up but, having done a day drive to Chichester and back before, its a long trip to do and I was knackered at the end of it all.

The seller has reduced the price to £25 quid from £45 and obviously wants it saved, as it must have been relisted getting on for a dozen times.

Really hoping that someone can save this beautiful machine - ONLY A FEW HOURS TO GO!

Paul :-(
