Kanyda Kitchen

I am not posting this so much that people might be interested in buying it, but it is an example of a long running range of cupboards. As far as I am aware they did go on sale in the late 1950s and were around all through the 1960s and into early 70's.

Kanyda Kitchen

That Kanyda kitchen takes me back, my Aunt had the very same sink unit, the wringer for the Countess lived in the bottom right hand cupboard! I do like that Belling Classic but I'd love a Double 80, they look much 'classier' than my daily driver, a late model 90 in two tone brown. So very 80's.

Belling Classic

I agree with you 100% about the Belling Classic 80 which I would find very hard to resist is one came up. I have a brochure at home which I will scan and post if I have time over the weekend. It is another of those UK products of the time which showed a cleanness of line and unadorned styling. Hotpoint washing machines are another example as indeed I would say were the dashboards and interiors of the "Mk II" Triumphs.

That said the 1970s version is not too far off, I posted one last month - its reply #32 not quite 2/3 of the way down the thread linked below.

I also posted a kitchen for sale in one of the late threads in 2014 which had a Classic 80?

Are you not tempted by the Carron Capri in Derby which has just been relisted again? I posted that last month too

Phillips auto dry

I spotted this in st oswalds charity shop warehouse in Kingston park near newcastle I didn't know there were auto dry machines from this era mind you I don't know a lot about Phillips. It was only £15. Apparently works

Reply #56 - a configuration for every but (t)

First, it's interesting to see the other side of the pond appliances here.

That stove in #56 is unusual - never saw a stove with all the burners in crop-planted style hangin on the front edge.
