Phillips dryer

Hi guys I called in to charity warehouse where Phillips dryer was today but it had gone. I think I need a dryer as my Bendix won't dry properly anymore and I'm stumped as to why not. I thought I'd clean the Phillips up and use it for a while and move it on here to someone who perhaps has the matching washer. But sadly it's gone. None of the other appliances have moved so either just a regular punter or someone from here saw my post ! Hopefully so. We can see it cleaned up !

And could this

Look any more 1970s. Seems to be a lot of interest in this one. Looks in good condition. That style of oven (freestanding but built in under a hob installed in the work top) never caught on here although popular in mainland Europe. To the right of the hob I see a Corning Counter Saver. The fridge is interesting too, again a style popular on mainland Europe yet our manufacturers resolutely avoided it. The front door has a frame which allows a matching panel to make it "disappear" into the kitchen, I generally thought they worked quite well, certainly does here.

That yellow kitchen is wonderful! Very stylish, I love the tiles too. The Neff appliances were expensive back then (70's). The fridge is a bit small, often the choice was a 250 liters model. I can't really determine it, but I guess the oven is still gas? Soon after the built under cookers the built in became in fashion. Around that time the combination of gas hob and electric oven appeared on the market, which was soon the most popular combination soon in continental Europe.

BTW, this kitchen looks very well kept!

Super Comet

Al
I never thought for one moment that a Super Comet would suddenly appear, the only other one I've seen is lurking in the large object store at the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. I wish I could find somewhere for it. The 1960's blue kitchen got me thinking, with that Debonair sitting by the cooker is there a wringer washer hiding somewhere?
Ian.
