Finally moved out of Brooklyn into my new home

It took what it seems like a half of year to close on the Brooklyn property
but now I'm happy to be in something quieter that I can make all the noise I want without disturbing others!

The shed is gone, owner took it with them and the play pin will be dismantled next spring.

Thomas my cat is really liking the house just like I am and we both are pleased.

Overall, the house is in very good condition and needs minor work. I've been through renovation earlier this year and I'm not doing any at this time.
ie. painting, etc....

Right know there is no phone service, still dealing with Frontier to get service.
DirecTV can not install service until I have a land line and TV's, so that is on hold until all requirements has been met.
I'm just fasting from looking at tv for the past month or so......

Just wish me the best during this new transition.

Thomas is a true house cat.
The house was built in 1968, from what I can tell is that this house was originally two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a one car garage.
I think the last owners made major renovations that added an extra bedroom, extended master bedroom, added shower/bathroom downstairs,
extra garage and an excersise room.

But what makes this house so special is that there is a lake in the back yard.

OMG I thought you'd had moved next door to me!!!!!
Take a look at the similarity... that's my house to the right side of this one.
That a beautiful house and a super backyard with the mini lake. Like yours, the one next door to us has had a few additions just like yours put on the back to make an extra big master bedroom and more rooms on the lower level. In fact this house I'm showing was acutally a flat roofed cubist style type house when it was built in 1958, it had so many leaks the current owners finally gave up and had a pitched roof put on.

The compact Whirlpool is sitting in my garage right now...
My whole collection will not fit, but I will keep as much as possible!
The rest is in storage.

Now you have leaves to contend with too LOL. We have kazillions in our neighborhood and I can easily bag up about 70-80 large clear leaf bags November thru December. My preferred method is to mow the lawn with the mulching plate on the mower, chops em up into little pieces, then I mow it again with the bag on and that sucks them up and makes them easier to bag. I find it easier than raking and/or using a leaf blower.
