I saw this yesterday at a local store.  It contains at least 21% phosphates and says to use with regular dishwasher detergent to get rid of clouding on glasses.  It was $4.49 for the 16 ounce box. Has anyone ever used this?  Since it says it is not a detergent is why I assume it can be sold.

I have used it!

Even though my water is not super hard, it's hard enough, and Glass Magic does make a difference!

I've used it, but Lemishine seems to provide better results for me.  Water here is very hard, and perhaps there's something in the Lemishine formula that Glass Magic lacks.

I've tried it as a phosphate replacement, and it works, but it is expensive per use. A better value is to purchase a tub of Sodium Tri Poly Phosphate (STPP).

I have used Glass Magic but prefer STPP as an additive. Aside from the cost of Glass Magic another issue is how it contains chlorine bleach. While not an issue with older chlorinated detergents, it deactivates the enzymes found in most of today's products.
