Ok, I FINALLY got a chance to go in the diagnostic mode and check for the "last fault" Here is the fault code it displayed:

Code 30. Lid Lock Failure.
1. Lid not closed, tab not engaged in lock.
2. Lock wiring harness fault/shorted.
3. Bad lid lock.
4. Bad sensor module.

Huh? Shouldn't it not run then? I powered it up after I exited the diagnostics at it ran fine... It has never had a problem with the lid locking, I'm drying a load of towels in it right now.
However, even being run on high heat, the towels still feel quite cool... I checked the air vent and it's moving even more air than the Whirlpool gas dryer next to it... What now?

That's not a fault code happening now, it's the last code that was recorded at the point in time it occurred.
Are you sure you're in the right menu level for displaying the code? Press Auto Dry Up three times after entering diagnostic mode.
The code you reported previously in this thread was #7 Excessive Motor Current, but that assumes the display was a fault code and not an indeterminate controller state.
If it's not heating properly, next thing is check the elements. I offered previously to send a service manual to you, got no response as to whether you want/need it. The offer still stands.

Glen, the service manual would be great! I'm sorry I never responded before, I just got so busy I barely had time to do my own laundry! They fired someone at work and as a result my hours there tripled! But now I'm finally out of class and have one day a week to myself!
