Hey Mike,
I loved seeing the photo of your garden and hearing about all the canning you and Jay have done. That reminded me of when I was growing up as we were the kind of people who canned peaches, apricots, tomatoes, pickles, all sorts of jams, jellies, olives. And one of our friends had an Easy Washer with the spinner. I already had a deep interest in washing machines, and we got to use that washer when I went to visit him once.

It would be great to see some photos posted from all you canning "artists." There's nothing wrong with showing off all of your hard work. The garden pics are nice too. I've always wanted to try my hand at pickled green beans and somewhere I have a large pressure cooker I bought specifically for this. These pickled beans are pricy in the supermarket.

I'm jealous of you gardeners. I planted yard long beans on my back porch, but couldn't seem to pick them before they turned soft, but I had a bumper crop of porch peppers!
