If there was a laundry detergent, fabric softener, bleach, dishwasher detergent or rinse aid or all of the above, and it said "Orlando florida breeze," what comes to mind? I immediately think of an orange scent with some floral scent or a fresh, orange field with a nice gentle floral citrus breeze on a crisp sunny day.
What are your thoughts?

scent explanation

Here's a better explanation. Here in Texas, we had HEB bravo in super scented country breeze which did a great job eliminating BO in the clothes. That may be more of a texas scent, so what would be a florida equivalent? It could be an Orlando inspired scent, or maybe all over Florida, but definitely targeted towards Orlando scent seekers Who want their clothes fresh after playing outside playing in sports, or a rough play out in the dirt.

chlorine smell an detergent scent seekers

That chlorine does remind me of bleach. Maybe you did visit the wrong place. Maybe some users who are scent seekers can imagine what Orlando Florida would smell like. I could imagine an orange field with some floral notes tossed in along with even some coconut. Anyone have other ideas?

I can assure you....walking into the woods smells nothing like a Fresh Forest after a rain.....

moose droppings, alligator breathe, swamp water, and rotten eggs that fallen from the tree.....most likely....but expecting it to smell like Pine Sol, not hardly!

yet, biting into a York Peppermint Patty gives me the sensation of standing at the top of Niagara Falls...releasing the stress to push someone over the edge!

orlando orange groves

That would make sense for a detergent to smell like an Orlando orange grove, maybe with a hint of lilac all boosted to super scent status. I wonder what Florida's publix premium store brand of detergent would be. HEB has Bravo here in tx.

How about if you based your scent and marketing on the Indian River rather than Orlando?  I think that part of the state has an abundance of orange, avocado, grapefruit - probably more.  Might have a nicer connotation than that associated with an urban location.

florida scents

I think that would be great. I would market as the Florida Citrus Groves super scented variety with every citrus fruit, with oranges from Orlando, to grapefruit maybe indian river. Then I would put botanicals and lilac and blend them all at once. I wish I knew the publix premium brand laundry detergent. I know HEB's premium detergent brand is Bravo.

Orlando Native Here

I was born and raised in Orlando and lived in Florida until 2003. Growing up there before Disney the predominant scent in the air was orange blossoms from about March thru May. If there was laundry detergent that smelled like that I would buy it to use on bed linens and towels . I use Gain with the orange essential oils now and Mrs. Myers Lemon Verbana when I can find it .

orlando orange blossom

I'd use that signature Orlando orange blossom on all my laundry. I'd like it to be in a super scented laundry detergent to get the smelly laundry stink out of I and my family's clothes. I'd also like the scent to come in a matching fabric softener too. People may think I'm a walking orange grove! So if I can't go to Orlando Florida, I'll bring it to me!
